Hahaha...hard to believe that in two weeks...we will be doing a race that most ppl don't dream of.
We were so lucky to have such beautiful weather this weekend to get the last big miles I before taper. Hallie did the Olympic distance y tri this past Saturday at scales lake. Sheiks going to post her soon of the race.
I had a great ride on the IM course with the IAMTRI group. Followed by a good run. Today ( Sunday) I had the pleasure of riding with some of my new training partners..members oftheLouisville landsharks. Then I got to relax by Emily and Drews pool!!!
It's definitely not like a pool party at Hallies house..but I'll take what I can get.
Monday will be the last time I get to taste the Ohio until the IM practice swim the day before the final event!!!
We r now entering our taper...and it couldn't come at a better time. I know hallie and I r both busy with. School starting!! I have only been at my new school for three days....but I have some amazing students and such supportive faculty and staff!!
This race is getting soooooooooooo real....I can't wait till the race 1. Bc I'll get to here Jenna Denstorff ...you r an ironman...but more importantly 2. I'll get to see my best friend!!! And hopefully place a medal around her neck after they say.. Hallie Denstorff you r an ironman!!
