March Madness

When I say March Madness, what do I mean? Well I could be talking about this crazy warm weather! (Loving it by the way!) I could be talking about the NCAA basketball tournament. Good Luck to Murray and IU on their upcoming games! This is a picture taken from Louisville by my cousin, Cliff, who is over watching the basketball games.  Everyone in our family knows it is IRONMAN time! But really I am talking about IRONMAN training! Jenna and I have really stepped up our training from the end of the February.  Over the past 2 1/2 weeks, Jenna and I have put in some crazy numbers for swimming, biking, and running.  We have been fortunate to have beautiful weather for biking.  Last week we road with Mary Jo and Scott over in Henderson and it was great! Thank guys for going slow for me because I am not very fast.  On Sunday Jenna and Andy went biking and she climbed Burdette Hill for the FIRST TIME!! GREAT JOB JENNA! I will say that is not as easy as it looks.  I have been running a ton because I am training for the SIC half marathon in April.  Jenna and I have been logging all of our miles from the beginning of March and can't wait to reveal the final numbers in August.  What is so nice is that we have such a large support system for our training physically, mentally, and spiritually.  We constantly get emails or text messages with quotes or people asking how training is going.  Thank you to all the people that continue to help us along with journey!  This is another quote from Jill:
"If Fe is the symbol for iron, then Female basically means ironman."

I am sure Brendan will love this quote because he posted some silly comment on our save the date event on facebook.
